Nobody does it alone.
Many times, it can seem like it’s just you out there–filling out your card with today’s tasks. It can make you think that everything is just up to you, and all the action and movement has to come from you.
But that’s not how the world works. We’re hopelessly interdependent. Almost anything worth getting done either already does or should involve other people.
Think about the things you’re listing out for yourself today. How many of them involve other people? Better yet, how many of them could involve other people? How many tasks that you’re struggling with could you simply ask for someone’s thoughts on? That simple conversation could break through the barriers that may have been keeping you from making progress.
In this life, we weave webs–whether we mean to or not. So don’t be afraid to step back and look at what you’ve woven already, or how you could make an even stronger web by weaving someone else into what has been a lone thread.
